2017 Chevrolet Spark
The 2017 Chevrolet Spark is good value. Small and lightweight with good fuel economy and 98 horsepower makes it an ideal zippy run-around car that is easy to park. Standard features are a touch screen, rearview camera, and Apple CarPlay.
The economical baby in the Chevrolet line-up
The new Chevrolet Spark is the smallest car in the Chevrolet 2017 collection. It is also one of the most fuel-efficient Chevrolet cars that are not a hybrid or a plug-in electric car. The look of the spark is also more substantial and eye-appealing than those of the previous spark models. It might be compact in size but the 2017 Chevrolet Spark has the capacity to accommodate four adults comfortably. There is enough headroom to sit upright and not hunch over even though one does have to sit close together, and enough room in the boot for grocery shopping. The bonus of the adjustable rear seat backs is that they can be folded down for additional interior space.
There is a marked improvement of power performance in the spark than in its competitors in the mini-car range, and the new Chevrolet Spark is considered as being the most advanced car. It handles well, is a good road holder, and light on fuel, although down on last years model. The 2017 Chevrolet Spark is powered by a 98-horsepower 4-cylinder engine and 5-speed manual gearbox, or else an option of a continuously variable transmission giving an even better fuel consumption. The CVT version of the 2017 model has slightly better EPA fuel-economy ratings, at 48kpl city and 60kpl on the highway.
Every Chevrolet Spark comes with standard fittings of power windows and door mirrors, as well as with air-conditioning, a built-in WiFi hotspot OnStar with 4G LTE connectivity capability, and the MyLink display system. The dashboard display is good and equipped with more instrument cluster that now features a new dot-matrix LCD between the gauges. The center of the dashboard supports a 7-inch touchscreen display for the Chevrolet MyLink radio system.
The design of the 2017 Chevrolet Spark
The Chevrolet design team refer to the sheet metal of the 2017 Chevrolet Spark as "shrink-wrapped" over its cabin, with each wheel simply pushed out to the corner! The hood and nose of the new Chevrolet Spark are far more defined than those of the previous models of the car. Elliptical headlights sweep back around the top corners of the hood near to the base of the windshield with a vertical grille and horizontal dividing bar revealing a look that states more stature. An interesting feature is the taillight lenses that protrude from the body.
